Our Story
T. Donaldson Construction Ltd. was established in 2005 and is locally owned and operated just east of Kingston, Ontario. We have 10 full-time employees and collaborate with a variety of reputable, trades that share our philosophy. We offer in home, commercial and institutional renovations, including heritage restoration.
Leadership
Trevor Donaldson
President/ Operations Manager
23 years experience in general construction, 20 years of experience in project management, and 15 years of experience in operations management. Trevor holds a bachelors degree in Criminology and diploma in Police Foundations. He also operates a farm with 60 head of beef cattle, plants crops on 1000 acres of land and produces maple syrup. Trevor is a 7th generation farmer; the Donaldson family has been on the same land in the Kingston area for over 100 years. Trevor is certified as a Type 1 & 2 Asbestos Worker.
Victoria Donaldson
Office & Accounts Manager
Victoria has 21 years office administration experience and holds an Administrative Professional Certificate, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a Certificate in Acquired Brain Injury Facilitator. Before taking on her current role, Victoria worked in various departments at Queen’s University. Attention to detail, excellent time management and adherence to deadlines enables her to complete her roles effectively and efficiently. When Victoria isn’t spending time with her family, she can be found curled up with a good book and a cup of tea.
Digvijaysinh (Jay) Borasiya
Assistant Project Manager
Jay is a detail-oriented Civil Engineer (E.I.T), specializing in efficient project management and budget oversight. With over four years of experience, he adeptly coordinates large-scale projects, ensuring top-notch quality and compliance. Jay leads with a focus on efficiency and safety compliance. He holds a variety of certifications, including Working at Heights, Asbestos Worker Types 1 & 2, and is pursuing his Professional Engineering certification. His extensive training and commitment to safety standards are integral to his professional expertise in civil engineering.
Gerald (Gerry) Buhr
Project Manager
Gerry is a seasoned Project Manager with over 17 years of experience in provincial government and Facilities Management roles at CBRE. Gerry excels in project management, procurement, and team leadership. His notable projects include heritage window replacements and new constructions, showcasing expertise in stakeholder engagement, budgeting, and facility management. A detail-oriented professional, Gerry is dedicated to achieving project goals and ensuring quality results.
Nathaniel Isnor
Project Manager
Nathaniel has 5+ years of construction related experience, from electrical apprentice all the way to engineering consultant. Nathaniel is a graduate of the University of New Brunswick where he attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is an engineer-in-training and is in the process of finishing his professional engineering qualifications in the near future. Nathaniel is a true east coaster, hailing from just outside Halifax, Nova Scotia, and now furthering his career in Kingston Ontario. His family has owned and operated woodlots for over 100 years where he spent much of his youth felling some of the largest trees know to the east coast.
Landon Deschenes
Site Supervisor
Landon is an accomplished Site Supervisor. With a wealth of experience in project management and construction, Landon excels in overseeing residential projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing project costs while maintaining quality. As a proud Canadian farmer, Landon also demonstrates proficiency in strategic farm management practices. With a background in welding and notable projects under his belt, Landon possesses strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, making him a valuable asset in our construction endeavor.
